On October 31, 2012 it was held a solemn ceremony of unveiling a marble plaque, on which is printed the text of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Moldova, located on the Constitutional Court building. The event was attended by President of the Republic of Moldova Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, First Deputy Speaker Vlad Plahotniuc, as well as the judges of the Constitutional Court and other guests.
