3rd Steering Committee Meeting

On 10 April 2017, the 3^rd Steering Committee of the EU-funded project “Support to the Constitutional Court of Moldova” was held in the premises of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova and attended by the representatives of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, State Chancellery, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance and the Constitutional Court, as well as by the representatives of the implementing consortium from the Deutsche Stiftung fur internationale rechtlige Zusammenarbeit (IRZ), the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania and members of the project implementing team.

The Steering Committee held exchange of views with all the stakeholders involved regarding the implementation of the project workplan and discussed the plans for the following implementation period.

The Steering Committee unanimously welcomed the positive assessment of the project implementation by all the stakeholders, endorsed the 2^nd Interim Report prepared by the project team and approved project’s proposed workplan and budget for the remaining period.

The date and venue of the next Steering Committee meeting shall be decided in due time.
