NOTICE: Constitutional Court’s Award “Constantin Stere” of 2017

The Constitutional Court of Moldova launches a contest for the award "Constantin Stere" - 2017 year edition.

The contest may be attended by authors (individuals, co-authors or nonprofits) of published scientific texts (monographies, set of articles or series of scientific articles published in national or international magazines recognised as specialised scientific publications) in the last 2 years.

The texts should contribute to solving efficiently issues of scientific and practical nature in the field of law, overall, and particularly to the development of the jurisdictional system, support of fundamental research in comparative and human rights law, including from the perspective of constitutional jurisdiction.

Authors of the prize-winning texts will be awarded the title of laureate of Constitutional Court's Prize "Constantin Stere" and a financial award accompanying the prize of 10.000 MDL.

The candidates may send their applications to the Court (Chişinău, str. A.Lăpuşneanu 28, phone contacts: 022253732; 022253724) making sure they meet the following requirements and include:

a)    An abstract (up to 3 pages and signed) stating the relevance and scientific novelty of the researched topic of the text;

b)    A review of the text by a specialist in the field;

c)    Curriculum Vitae of the candidate/candidates (that would include the name, surname, date of birth, studies, the degree, place of work, the current position, the list of published texts, contact details). In the case of nonprofits, a copy of the State registration certificate, its address and the name of the chair shall be submitted;

d)    The published scientific text/s  submitted for the contest.

Deadline for the application: 30 June 2017.
