The President of the Constitutional Court took part in the celebration of Lithuanian Constitution
Tuesday, 25 October 2017, the President of the Constitutional Court of Moldova (CCM) Mr Tudor Panțîru, participated in the official event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Lithuanian Constitution which took place at the Parliament of the host country and on this occasion delivered a congratulation speech.
The visit of CCM delegation to Lithuania takes place in the context of the Vilnius Forum – an assembly organised by the Constitutional Court of Lithuania within the Project “Assistance to the Constitutional Courts of Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine in Ensuring the Implementation and Protection of the Principles of the Rule of Law in the Context of the Regional Challenges”, supported and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania within the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme. This cooperation format represents the means of collaboration of constitutional jurisdiction institutions with a view to achieve the high level objectives of partner countries correlated to the goal of the European Union to strengthen the democratic processes in East Partnership Countries.
